This has obviously already saved a
lot of people's lives, including those of a bunch of people who I've never met.

Help wanted
If you're an
aspiring donor, please first implement what seems practical to you from the Tiny, Do-It-Yourself Ways To Tell Complete
Strangers page.
Things
we need: solutions to technical problems, introductions to people we ought to be
in touch with, funding with no strings attached, or funding and complete ownership from
start to finish of projects we deem relevant.
Assistantships
On-site full-time assistantships
If you can obtain your own funding to do this, you can
work here. This is like no other place on earth to work. You'll either love it
or hate it, probably a combination of the two. One thing that everyone agrees on --
we have a unique way of doing things. Just get in touch with us and tell us why you
think you would be useful.
Off-site, part-time ongoing assistantships
Take7 on an area to manage, such as assistant
Webmaster. For any assistantship you would have to be available throughout the day
and/or evening for short consultations/base-touches to keep things on track. But the
work you do can certainly be relegated to certain hours and days, by mutual
agreement.
Let us know
how much you're willing to do.
Project assistantships
Computer
programming and applications
We need, currently, increased capabilities for doing
statistical and data analysis, and general consulting by people who familiarize themselves
with our web site and make suggestions for cool things that we can partner in creating and
they can add. Projects must be done on an interactive basis with a member of our
staff who volunteers to work with you.

Assisting by creation of corporate education, participation, and
sponsorship
If you can find us a corporation, or a prominent
individual, to partner with us, you will have done a great service not only for all of
humanity but also for that corporation or individual. Individuals like that should
begin their partnership with us by appearing on the Cure Show as a guest. And we
will be thrilled to do a group Cure Show for the staff of any company that wishes to make
immunics a part of their healthcare incentive. The training can start at the top or the
bottom -- it doesn't matter. When people see other people not getting sick, and they
get sick, they tend to join the ranks of the immuners.
The companies that do immunics will beat their competitors.
An
army that is not beset by numerous diseases is certain to win.

Employer
Matching
You could
multiply your gift to immunics.org through employer matching contributions.
Thousands of companies have matching gift programs which double or even triple individual,
tax-deductible contributions made by their employees.
Banners for immunity
One type of corporate partnership we are especially
looking for is with popular, well-trafficked Internet companies. Donations of banner
ads on their web sites would be a stellar way to contribute. Contacting these
companies and inducing them to make those donations is a critical type of assistantship --
we need as many people as possible doing that. If you cure them they're grateful.
Any interested company should take note. When Yahoo and AOL discover the
truth in this, they'll be donating a lot of banner ads.
A good example of a corporation / individual to partner with is Dr.
Andrew Weil, who publishes a magazine called Self Healing.
Ways To Donate $
All donations to this ministry are tax-deductible as
such. This includes goods, and services if you are a professional in a certain
field.
The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund has
approved us for their list of charities, and you may wish to set up a Gift Fund with them
to support us in an effectively tax-deductible manner. Or you can use one of the
other options listed here, which can be set up with your attorney or your
accountant, depending on which option you choose.
Before
making a donation to World Harmonic Unified Ministers, we recommend that you consult your
tax adviser or attorney for full advice on the effect of your gift. We will send an
itemized receipt at year-end to you or your tax consultant upon request. When
Fidelity Investments evaluated us as a charity, they did so by going to our web site,
which is the information that you should furnish any professional who is interested in
doing such an evaluation. We can also send them a copy of our articles
of incorporation.
Usable items
One of our colleagues owns a CD company, and donated
CDs. We, of course, had to make what was on the CD and give it to him to
manufacture. We are more than willing to partner with you in ways like this.
Used computer hardware, if it's good, often comes in very handy. One of our most
important donors, Al Hartman, gave us, over the two-year period when we first started
this, approximately half of all the hardware, and, for that matter, the labor that made
this happen.
Kudos, Al.
A one-time cash donation
Monthly tithes
This is by far, to us, the best way to make money donations.
Any ministry needs to know what they're monthly income will be -- we are no
exception. The people who have given us amounts of money per month that we have
counted on, indefinitely or for a specific number of months, have been the backbone of
this effort, and made this easier by far than any other kinds of donors. Here's a
fun little note I wrote to our colleagues about this.
Bequests
A wonderful opportunity to repay your kids for all the
times they disobeyed you.

Gifts of Stocks or Bonds
A charitable gift of stocks or bonds provides an
opportunity for tax savings while generously sharing with others. A gift of stock owned
for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at
the time the gift is made. If the stock has appreciated, you also avoid a capital gains
tax on the appreciation. In addition to helping immunics, you may diversify away from
low-basis, long-term holdings into other assets that will better suit your current needs.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities
Appreciated
securities such as stocks and bonds are often contributed to Habitat
for Humanity. This simple, effective method of giving doubles your tax
benefit:If you itemize your return, you can receive an income tax charitable deduction for
a contribution of appreciated securities; those owned for longer than a year are
deductible for their full fair market value. You also avoid capital gains tax.
How to Make a Gift of Securities
There are several ways to make a gift of securities. If
you have the actual certificate, you can mail the unendorsed certificate and a signed
stock power (in separate envelopes) to our Gift Planning department. The postmarks on the
envelopes determine the gift date. Most financial institutions can provide stock powers,
or, if you prefer, we will send one to you.
The fastest and easiest way to make a stock gift is to have your broker perform an
electronic transfer.
Gifts
of Closely Held Stock
Provided you have owned it for more than one year, a
gift of closely held stock may enable you to make a more significant gift than you
otherwise could, while generating an income tax charitable deduction equal to the fair
market value of the stock on the date of the transfer. By making a gift of stocks,
capital gains taxes are avoided. So long as there is neither binding obligation on
WHUM to accept any subsequent purchase offers nor any specified price at which WHUM must
sell, WHUM may entertain offers from family members or the corporation issuing the stock
to purchase the transferred shares.
Charitable Annuities,
you name it
As you can see, there are as many ways to contribute as there are
miracles in the sky. Please contact our Executive Director, Greg Morkovin, if you
would like to donate time, money, resources, expertise, or your service in any of the
above capacities.
We will all personally be very grateful if you do this. |
