Keely's letter to Gavin de Becker

Dear folks at GDB - I wanted you to have this copy of a letter I just snail-mailed to Gavin in case he'd prefer to read it on line. 

August 6, 2003

Dear Mr. de Becker,

I am writing to you because I think you're one of the most important people in the world today, and because the nature of your work has to do with creating immunity.  My colleagues and I are engaged in a project to help save the world by teaching people how to control their immune systems -- physical, emotional, and spiritual.  We do this for free, by telephone, in what we call the Cure Show.  Many of us have used what we teach to literally cure ourselves of diseases such as herpes, sciatica, liver cancer, and fibromyalgia.  We have about 140 Cure Shows, any of which can be heard in our web college at www.immunics.org.

To make it brief, I would like you to be my guest in a Cure Show.  We can do it by phone and it'll take about an hour and a half.  We actually want to teach you a few of these precise skills.   What we mutually can learn from each other is inestimable.  A convergence of our forces will reap something of great value for those you work for, and for us as well.   I think that you'll be able to help us advance our efforts to make some kind of dent in the global health crisis just by being with us for this brief amount of time. 

To help you evaluate my request, I'm enclosing a letter one of my colleagues, Bill Pelle, sent to former President Clinton.  It contains some relevant info, and I hope it will help you decide that doing this would be worthwhile.  

Not a day goes without my seeing some news editor or program director who desperately needs to become familiar with your work and your remedies to many social dysfunctions.  Reading The Gift of Fear was a thrilling experience for me and I recommend it to everyone I talk to.  It also confirmed the importance of the work I've been doing with immunity for the past 22 years.  I think that your being in a Cure Show will be a revelation for you, and it will be a huge help and inspiration for us.
